Place of Invoice Issue

LoMag users may need to change the place of invoice isue for their customers (sales representatives, rental of construction equipment on site, etc.), and the LoMag warehouse program allows you to do this in several ways, below are the three most effective ways to configure the software.

1. Issue of the Document in the Place of Registration of the Business Partner

If the invoice is issued at the place where the customer's company / company is registered, then the additional document template should be configured properly to locate the position. When issuing the invoice, click on the template editor icon, which will open a new window.

Locate the "place of issue" item on the template and delete the company city variable value on the right (by clicking the left mouse button on it and pressing the delete button). In this way, we will free up space on the document for the "Account Town", which we can find from the left side of the window, and by pressing the left mouse button, holding it, and moving to the place of the deleted parameter of our company's headquarters, we can add the desired parameter.

By pressing the print preview button, the LoMag user can preview how the printout of the document will look like with the changes.

In order to use the configured template multiple times, press the templates button in the upper left corner and then select the save as option. A new window will appear with a list of available templates. By entering a new name and clicking save, the newly configured print template will be added to the list.

The print template can be selected each time on the document from the drop-down list, or set as the default for this type of document from the program settings.

2. A Dedicated Column with the Place of Issue of the Document

The second way is to add a dedicated column that the user will complete when issuing the invoice. This is better than the previous option because you can enter any place of issue of the document, not just the place of registration of the customer's company. To do this, go to the program settings by clicking the settings icon and switch to the dedicated columns tab.

Pressing the add button will show us a new window in which we can enter name, place of issue and select the column type as text. Click the OK button to confirm the addition of new column for the invoice type document.

Make sure that the column will be visible when generating an invoice-type document i.e. the flashcard should be marked in the visibility field, and then accept the changes with the OK button.

When issuing a new VI document, please note that a new field has appeared in which we can enter the place of invoice issue. To place this field on a document, click the template editor icon to open a new window.

In the upper right corner of the document, find the 'company place' position, mark it with the left mouse button (this will highlight its frame in red) and delete it by pressing the delete key. The next step is to find a dedicated column previously added by us called 'Customer City' and place it in the position of the removed company place by using the left mouse button, holding it and moving it to the appropriate place on the document template.

3. Set Templates for Multiple Customers

The third practical option is to set a template for a specific customer. This is the least practical option because a separate print template must be created for each customer on which the place of issue of the document will be placed.
