LoMag software allows us to perform a series of activities using serial number options. These include browsing history, checking reports, and even searching for goods after a given N/S. The most important functions are described below.
In order to use the 'find' tool for items after N/S service, use the Item tab present in the main menu and select the 'Find' option from the drop-down list or either use the keyboard shortcut [CTRL + F]. In the 'Find' window move your cursor to the 'Serial Number' tab.
LoMag program allows you to search for items in many ways; below we presented the find option N/S which contains the phrase 'er'. This resulted in displaying all items containing the searched expression in the serial number. It should be noted that the option 'In stock' is selected, this displays the goods that we have in stock.
Another option is to search for serial numbers for a given product. To do this, select Samsung Galaxy S6 from the drop-down list, and check the 'In Stock' option in the list. This will display a list of serial numbers for the selected product in the window.
In case of any mistakes and wrong entering of data while accepting the items, you can change, remove or delete the errors by 'Edit' tool. To do this, double-click on the desired N / S with the left mouse button or select it and then click on the 'Edit' option. The execution of this option will display a new window with the option of editing the serial number.
To change the serial number, check the box 'Change' and enter a new correct S/N. Using the OK button will confirm the changes. The newly entered N/S will be visible in the list.
To view the serial numbers for the selected item, go to the item catalog, find the desired item and edit it by double clicking with the left mouse button or using the Edit tool.
In the edit window of specific item, click on S/N icon present at the bottom of the screen, it will display a new window with serial numbers for a given item that we have in stock.
In order to start with the S/N history window, use the 'Item' tab and select the 'Serial Number History' from the drop-down list.
In the serial number field, enter a 'Serial Number 2' to display its history. The example below introduces the value 'Serial number 2'. The LoMag program informs that the product of such N / S has been accepted in the OB document, and its current location in the 'Test Warehouse'.
The second filtering option in the N/S history window is to use a field called 'Find'. In this field you do not have to specify exact search parameters, just enter the phrase, which will be searched in all columns. In the example below, the phrase 'Bil' is entered. The software automatically displays all the goods and serial numbers that appear in the Operation column, because the phrase we are looking for appears in this column. In the same way, we can search N/S after other columns, including the name of the item, the date of the document, the number of documents or the serial number.
To display the N/S report window in the stock, the LoMag user should use the Reports tab and select the 'A Report on Serial numbers on the stock' option from the drop-down list.
This will open the window.
In the new window we have the opportunity to view all serial numbers for goods that we have in stock. In addition, there are functions for filtering goods by warehouses or by specific N/S. In order to save the list on the disk in the .xlsx file (Microsoft Excel) use the button Excel button. The LoMag program user can also print the list by clicking on the 'Print' button
If you want to display a detailed N/S report, select the Reports tab and choose the 'Detailed Report of Serial Number' from the expanded list.
This will open the window.
In the new window you should use the options described earlier in the above instructions. LoMag software allows us to filter data in the upper part of the report window - selecting a contractor, product name, serial number and the other parameters. On the left-hand side, select the period that the report should apply to, there is also the option to specify the date range located at the bottom of the window.
