In the LoMag software, each item can have a suggested purchase price, for example, 1 PLN. This means that when adding the product to a GRN (Goods Received Note), the software suggests 1 PLN as the default price. But what happens if the price increases to 1.10 PLN? You can enable an option that allows LoMag to automatically update the suggested purchase price across the system based on GRN entries.
Thanks to this option, LoMag will automatically update the product's purchase price when you change it in the GRN document. To enable this option, go to the program settings, then open Documents → Goods Received Note and check the option Automatically update suggested purchase prices.

The option is now enabled. For example, the suggested purchase price of apples is 1 PLN.

So when creating a GRN document (SHIFT + F2), the system will suggest buying apples for 1 PLN.

Let’s assume the price of apples increases to 1.10 PLN. Thanks to the enabled option, changing the price while adding the product to the GRN will update the suggested price across the system, not just in the current document.

When you check the product list, you’ll see the suggested price has been updated.
This also means that in the next GRN, the suggested price will be 1.10 PLN.

The same feature is available for purchase invoices. To enable this option, go to the program settings, then open Documents → Purchase invoice and check the option Automatically update suggested purchase prices.

Now we proceed to creating a purchase invoice: Documents → Purchase invoices.

Next, add the desired product to the purchase invoice.

Change the net value of the product.

Save and close the invoice.

When you return to the product list, you’ll see the suggested price has been updated.
