The LoMag program allows you to pick items for orders to create either a stock Goods Issue Note, Rental or Reservation Documents.
This function also supports barcode scanner devices to make it easier and faster to scan item barcodes during picking. Scanners compatible with LoMag are available at the online store Sklep.LoMag.pl under the Barcode Scanners section.
To pick items for customer orders using a scanner, you need to enable scanner support.
Go to the Settings menu, then under the Documents tab, in the Optimization for barcode reader section, check the options you want to enable. Confirm by clicking OK.
Picking is available when creating a Orders from Customer document. To create the document, go to the Documents menu and select Orders form Customer.
To add items to the picking list, click Add, select items from the list, and confirm with OK.
To use the picking function, press Picking... within the Goods Issue Note.
To start a new picking process for an Goods Issue Note, click Picking... within the Goods Issue Note and in the new window click Pick a new one or use shortcut Alt+N.
When using a scanner, simply scan the items. For the purpose of this guide, codes are entered manually. Once entered and OK is clicked, the items are picked immediately. Items still to be picked are shown in red.
You can also hide or show completed items. To do this, click Hide completed. Picked items will be marked in green and remaining items in red.
LoMag also allows for manual picking. Simply select an item that has been picked, click Picking the goods, and confirm with OK.
After all items have been picked, the field Items left for picking: 0 will appear. If some items are still pending, the field shows how many remain.
To finish picking, click Finish picking.
Finishing the picking process generates a Goods Issue Note.
The Rental and Reservation picking process works the same way as the Goods Issue Note. Click Picking... and then Rental or Reservation, and follow the steps above.
Once complete, a Rental or Reservation document is created in the same way as an Goods Issue Note.
