Limiting Quantities on Proforma Invoices to Current Stock Levels

The LoMag warehouse management software allows issuing proforma invoices with unlimited quantities for each item by default. However, it is possible to restrict the quantity of items on pro forma invoices to the actual stock levels. To do this, go to the program settings.

On the left side, select the document type "Pro Forma Invoice" and then check the option to block items on these documents. Save the changes by clicking the OK button.

As an example, we created two proforma invoices for the item 'Apple': one for 800 units and another for 500 units – with the current stock level at 20 units.

When the item blocking option for pro forma invoices is enabled, LoMag users will not be able to issue a document that exceeds the available stock. When attempting to add an item to a document that would surpass the stock level, the user will be notified in a new window containing information on which documents the item has already been issued.
In the screenshot below, we can see that it is not possible.

If the item blocking option for proforma invoices were disabled, the LoMag user would be able to add the above item to the document.
