The LoMag warehouse software allows multi-level sorting of rows. This feature is available in all windows, including items, documents, and reports. By default, to sort a column by a single value, simply click its header with the left mouse button. To sort data by several columns, right-click any header and select Multi-level sorting from the drop-down list.
A new window will appear in which you should select the second option, i.e. Multi-level sorting. This will unlock the editing of six columns. The user decides by how many values the rows should be sorted (in our case, items). In the screenshot below, we chose to sort the items first by unit in ascending order, then by item group, also in ascending order, and finally by stock quantity, in descending order, by leaving the ascending checkbox on the right side unchecked.
The fourth, fifth, and sixth columns are ignored and should remain set to the default value None. Confirm the changes by clicking OK.
In the item search list, we can see that the items have been sorted according to the order set in the multi-level sorting window. Additionally, next to the configured headers, we can see up/down arrow icons indicating how the column was sorted (ascending or descending).
