An example product is made of two types of raw materials: one unit of raw material 1 and two units of raw material 2.
The customer places an order for the product, so we create a Orders from customer like below.
We add a new document by clicking Add.
Fill in the document according to your preferences. For this example, we will add the product described above in a quantity greater than what's currently in stock.
To produce this product through assembly, we need to purchase raw materials. The Raw material demand report will show how many raw materials are needed to fulfill the customer’s order. Go to Report → Raw material demand report.
In the given order, we can see how many raw materials are needed to manufacture it.
You can filter the report by status, item, or contractor.
